Memories and Reminders

When I visit a new town or place I always like to buy something that will remind me of the place and the wonderful time I had – something small but significant.   Fridge magnets are that for me – small reminders that you see everyday that will take you down memory lane.

Refrigerator magnet or fridge magnet is an ornament attached to a small magnet, which is used to post items such as shopping lists, art or reminders on a refrigerator door, or which simply serves as decoration. Collecting magnets is also hobby, with some collectors specializing in magnets from cities, countries, or local landmarks.  Refrigerator magnets come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

Here are a few interesting and quirky fridge magnets:

Save-the-Date Magnets

I just love this idea of sending your ‘Save-the-Date’ as a fridge magnet.  It is a small practical token, everyone can see it and they are really hard to be misplaced once they are on the fridge.

Unique Little Garden

Magnetic metal tins, often used to organize office supplies or arrange spices on a refrigerator, are the perfect containers for tiny vertical terrariums. This is such a cool idea.

You can easily turn vintage small tins into refrigerator magnets by putting a strong magnet inside the tin and there you have a cute and functional fridge storage.
